Some lessons learnt from IFPRI's online activities and how we can measure the success or otherwise of trying to link websites, blogs, the press, print, events and social media.
Google analytics and a whole series of new tools allow us to measure the success of different sections of a website and determine which parts bring users to published research. A few examples are presented which illustrate how we can prioritise how we publish online and set priorities for promoting different types of research products..
